2019 Mission-Matsqui-Fraser Canyon Conservative Candidate Chosen

May 24, 2018 - Abbotsford, BC

The Mission-Matsqui-Fraser Canyon Conservative Association is pleased to announce that Brad Vis will stand as its candidate for the 2019 federal election. The Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, Andrew Scheer, congratulated Brad on his successful nomination.

“Mission-Matsqui-Fraser Canyon Conservatives have an excellent candidate in Brad,” said Scheer. “Brad is a strong addition to our team as we bring forward our positive Conservative vision for Canada that puts people before government, and focuses on what helps Canadians, not what helps well-connected Trudeau Liberal insiders.”

“Our entire Board of Directors is pleased to have Brad as our candidate in the 2019 election,” noted Riding President Marc Vella. “Anyone who knows Brad understands that he brings a level of intensity, enthusiasm, expertise, and unparalleled commitment to the electoral process.”

“Mission-Matsqui Fraser Canyon is a massive riding spanning from Abbotsford and Mission all the way north of Lillooet,” continued Mr. Vella. “With over a year until the next election, our team is looking forward to executing an extensive outreach program to understand the concerns of residents across the constituency in order to help Brad represent those views in Ottawa in 2019.”

“I’ve heard loud and clear that the constituents of this riding are looking for change, and that this Liberal Government has been a major disappointment,” observed Candidate Brad Vis. “People are very concerned that Mr. Trudeau’s out-of-control spending will impact the future prosperity of Canada. At the same time, life has become increasingly unaffordable for seniors on fixed incomes and young families trying to purchase a home in the community they were raised. I will be working on and advocating for policies to address these concerns.”

“The Mission-Matsqui-Fraser Canyon Electoral District Association prides itself on being a grassroots and community based organization,” stated Mr. Vella. “Brad and our entire team look forward to working with any interested person wishing to play their part in building a stronger Canada.”
